The East West Sanctuary is 16 kilometres (10 miles) from the centre of Budapest. The complex is situated on the edge of Nagykovácsi, a small village, overlooking, and within 5 minutes walk of, the Buda forest.
The Centre of Contemplative Inquiry is a large house comprising four bedrooms, a meditation room, a sitting and dining room, kitchen, and a pleasant garden. There are three bathrooms. The garden is shared with the Yoga Studio, a beautiful custom-built building.
Accommodation is normally in 2-, 3-, and 4-bedded rooms, although for larger retreats and workshops run jointly between the Centre and the Yoga Studio, the Sanctuary can accommodate up to 20 people.
